July 16 9am – 11am
Two hours of your time. Decades of impact.
Please join fellow Cowork Frederick members in this important effort, by helping with the cleanup or providing sustenance to the cleanup team.
We, the members of the Cowork Frederick community, have been so blessed in so many ways. So many have given to us, supported us, and cheered us on. Years ago, we began finding ways to give back.
Past projects include clearing a yard overgrown with weeds, building a website for a non-profit, doing a silent auction of member art, products, and services to raise money for S.H.I.P., and collecting men’s clothing for a shelter.
Members voted and chose the July 16 Monocacy River Clean up as our 2022 Giving Back Project. Turns out, Cowork Frederick member Scott Harris had already signed up to lead the effort, which is part of a larger Potomac Conservancy river cleanup.
This is the first-ever Potomac Conservancy river cleanup effort in Frederick County. We like firsts and clean water is essential, so with that and Scott’s involvement, picking this year’s project was pretty easy.
We’re aiming or at least 10 people from Cowork Frederick to sign up to help with the cleanup effort and 3 people to provide sustenance (we’re having a picnic lunch after the cleanup).
Also, if you can’t do either the cleanup or provide sustenance, let us know (reply here) so we’ll stop bugging you. 🙂
