Frederick has PLENTY of good parking options nearby, including some free ones. For parking more than an hour or two, we recommend using one of the nearby parking garages. The All Saints garage at the corner of E All Saints Street and S Carroll Street is the easiest to get in and out of, especially during rush hour. The Carroll Creek lot (entrance on E Patrick Street at the Maxwell Alley light or the Library) is a few steps closer, but you’ll have to go through the center of town to get out. Parking rates can be found here.

Depending on the time of day, there’s plentiful on-street parking, just make sure you read signs carefully and don’t forget to set a timer, as most metered spots have a two-hour limit which is enforced. Metered parking is $0.50 on Patrick Street and $.025 on Carroll Street for 15 minutes 9a-5p M-F and 9-5 Saturday. Outside those times, on-street parking is free. There’s an app for parking if you don’t have change. iPhone or Android, get the Parkmobile app and set up an account. It’s used across the DMV area, so it can be a handy app to have.

Cowork Frederick members have collectively shared their best parking tips, including best lot rates and even suggested “loops” to drive to find free on-street parking. Find them in the #parking-tips channel in Slack.

IMPORTANT: Patrick Street does not permit overnight parking due to street cleaning. If you’re in town for the evening and are staying overnight, please find another spot for your vehicle. Also, Patrick Street is a snow emergency route, so if the weather turns frigid and nasty, make sure to find a better home for your vehicle.
